Hi, I understand everyone is trying to help, but HEY? I have OS X Server, simply, it is an update like every other Mac Update, like El Capitan, like Keynote, Final Cut Pro!
Get it, normal free upgrades through App store MONGREL update, what I want and what Apple should be providing is a direct download ie per El Capitan 10.11.6 that you can download and up date all your computers, are you people not understanding? I want to update my software to all my computers with ONE download only, not multiple downloads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ron. In Theory if you are logged into the App Store with the correct AppleID that you purchased Server with originally, you should see the 'upgrade' option automatically for the correct Server that matches your OS.In practice as of today (7/14/17) this is broken for 5.1.7. I updated from Yose to ElCAP last night and the App store did not offer me the Server update.Today after hours on the phone with 'Apple Care' they have informed me this is currently broken, and they have no way to get me the file! (so embarrassing for them).Hey a walled garden is nice, but we also need some ladders and ropes just in case!
